More Free ATMs!

Dubois-Pike FCU has partnered with another fee-free ATM network.  CO-OP Networks provides 28,000 fee free ATM machines nationwide.  By partnering with CO-OP Network you now have free access to all 28,000 ATMs.  You can log on to www.duboispike.org and click the CO-OP link or you can text your location to MYCOOP (692667) to find the 5 ATMs nearest you.  You can also call 1-888-SITE-COOP to find free machines in the area.  We also continue to be partnered with Alliance One Network.  That link is also located on our website under “Find a No-Fee ATM”. 

Card Act                    

The federal government has once again gotten involved with controlling financial matters.  They have passed many new regulations concerning credit cards.  Many of these regulations are truly to protect the consumer.   As with any other product we offer, our VISA credit cards were designed with you in mind right from the get-go.  You will see little if any changes in our credit card program.  Our VISA credit cards have a very low rate compared to the competition.  We do not charge any annual fee.  You will earn reward points for every dollar you spend. We do not automatically raise your credit limits without you making the request.  As you can see, we have designed our credit card program as a financial tool for you to use, not as a way to gouge you to pad our bottom line.

CHRISTMAS CLUBS

 

Christmas Club funds will be disbursed on Tuesday, Oct. 13th.  If you currently have a draft account with us, the funds will be transferred to that account and a receipt mailed to you.  If you do not have a draft account, the checks will be mailed.  Also, if you have notified us in the past to hold your club funds in the account we will do so.

Don’t forget:  try to shop local and support your community.

If you are still using the old download version of Perfect Teller (the one that put an icon on your desktop) you should consider using the link we provide directly from our web site, www.duboispike.org.   The web version is much quicker and offers more maneuverability within your accounts.  Give it a try.

IRA Accounts

 

Year-end is just around the corner.  It is time to get your IRA in line for 2009.  We offer Traditional, Roth and Education IRAs.   If you are rolling over a retirement account we can help you with that also. 

Don’t forget, once your IRA funds have been designated as a specific type IRA you can then invest them in IRA certificates.
